Adison Tennis, age 30 - 40 (= born c. 1800 - 1810)
— see 1850 Census,
where his birth year can be calculated to c. 1804), with:
2 males under age 5 (= born 1835 - 1840),
Who are these two sons?
Adison and Lucinda had 6 known sons, with the following birth years
and ages in 1840.
All were alive, so four were living elsewhere at the time,
a not uncommon practice, even for young children.
Three possibilities exist for the two sons at home who fit the
census age grouping ("under 5"); they are marked here in
red bold:
1826 — 14 — Wilson
1833 — 7 — John H., in Ohio
1836 — 4 — Samuel, in Ohio
1837 — 3 — James Adison, in Ohio
1838 — 2 — William M., in Ohio

see 1850 Census, where her birth year can be calculated to
c. 1808)
1 female age 5 - 9 (= born c. 1831 - 1835) = possibly Elizabeth, born c. 1828
1 female age 10-15 (= born 1825 - 1830) = probably Mary Ann, born c. 1827.
